I am trying to install ProRes LT on my MacBook Pro running OS 10.5.8.
The system requirments info on the download page says it needs OS 10.5.6
When I download and try to install the application it says that needs OS 10.6 at least.
Could someone help with this?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ProRes says it wasn't released until 2010, well after 10.6's release. So it is possible that was a typo on whatever site your downloaded it from. Thankfully 10.6 is compatible with your Mac, and only $20 to upgrade to:

Thank you for answering my question. I see I have choice but to upgrade and be mindful of Rosetta, which i crucial for me since I am still using Eudora email.
