Q: Why Adobe 9 refuse to work now ?

Since I upgraded to Maverick 10.9 and 10.9.2, Adobe reader 9 is not working. I tried to upate Adobe reader, but the update gives me an error.

    Adobe Reader 9 won't run on a Mac with v10.9 Mavericks installed.

     

    Mac OS

    • PowerPC® G4, PowerPC G5, or Intel processor
    • Mac OS X v10.4.11–10.5.8 (PowerPC); Mac OS X v10.4.11–10.6.3 (Intel)
    • 128MB of RAM (256MB recommended)
    • 405MB of available hard-disk space (additional space required for installation)
    • Safari 3.0.4 or later

    Then click:  System Requirements

     

    Your Mac will open PDF files for you without Adobe Reader installed.
