Hotmail account was hacked locked out of itunes

My hotmail account was hacked and I cannot use my password which means I am locked out of itunes .. I have created a new email account, a new Apple ID and password but remain locked out of itunes as it I can't use my old password to get in and change it to my new one... Going around in circles I am unable to make purchases ... And I'm considering burning all my stuff to cd and leaving apple
