I am struggling to find a 2GB DDR2 667 for my IMAC mid 2007, and the shops here are offering me only onces with 666 Mhz. Can i use it instead of the one required by imac, the 667 mhz?

Yes you can.The actual rate is 666 2/3 : DDR2 SDRAM - Wikipedia
and as with the 1066/7 version, you'll see it referred to as one or the other.
Note that matching the speed etc doesn't guarantee that it will work properly in a particular computer, so it's wise to buy from somewhere that offers a good warranty.
what the shop is offering me is this

but i dont think it will work in my case. Whats your impression?
If you show them the specifications : 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-5300), then they should offer you something that will probably work. The PC2-6400S isn't what Apple say to use; it's 800MHz rather than 666/7
