How can seperate contacts on Itunes/Iphone 5s

Hi there. I must admit to being a bit of an apple technophobe as the capibilities have increase so much over the past years and left me behind horribly!

I had a personal Iphone which bit the dust due to an unfortunate incident with a swimming pool a couple of years back and ended up using a cheap replacement. I have now been given a business Iphone and want to upload all my apps,music etc, but do not want all my contacts to sync across as I want to start fresh business contacts only. Is it possible to to not sync all the 'old' numbers on itunes, but also have it save all new contacts as I add them?

I hope one of you apple geniuses will put me out of my misery!
