I've created 2 identical Automator actions
I cant locate where they're stored to delete one of the duplicates
When I open, I get a choice of looking in the cloud or on device
It's not in either location
I've tried searching using Spotlight and Finder for the name I used, but cant find anything
Where am I going wrong?
I assume to get rid of the duplicate, I need to locate and delete the file - if not, how do I get rid of?

@vikingosx i've got mavericks (that's the absolute latest one? if so yes)
in finder window when i hit command+j i dont see the option you refer to
i see this:
am i missing something?
in terminal, how do i turn the flag back on?
(dont want someone else accidentally deleting things accidentally)
would i type this: chflags hidden ~/Library

Do you mean Workflows or really mean Actions.
An action is the little bit you drag into a Workflow to do a function.
Actions are stored in your user/Library/Automator.
Workflows are in your user/Library/Workflows, or if they are Services, in user/Library/Services.
In Automator, File > Open Recent to get the last filename you saved from Automator. Then File > Open... will open a file dialog to the folder where you last saved that Automator content. Make certain you have On My Mac selected. Command click the open dialog title, and it will drop down a folder hierarchy to the currently open folder.

i followed a guide online to batch rename files
works nicely, but in doing so, i managed to create 2 of them
i followed ur instructions... cant find 😟
there's no services folder under library
but... i did a search on terminal... and it's in the services folder!
how do i change it so that i can see the services folder?
(i'm sure i changed settings before so that i could see library)

If you are running Mavericks, open a Finder window, and press Command+J. There is an option on this panel to enable visible Library folder.
If you are not running Mavericks, you need to open the Terminal app and type the following:
chflags nohidden ~/Library
Once your local Library folder is visible in the Finder, double-click it, and scroll down to find the Services folder.
Open a Finder window, and type command+J. Check Show Library Folder. When you are done, you can uncheck this option to hide the Library folder again, if you choose.
Since you have Mavericks, you do not need to use the chflags terminal command that would only be necessary with Mountain Lion and earlier. If you already used it, the opposite of nohidden is hidden.
@Barney-15E still didnt work. i closed all finder windows and opened a new one - which always opens in th ehome folder. command j shows the same
in the end, i did the terminal command and have now removed

Yes, you are missing the part where you start from your home folder. Show the view options with your home folder open and front most.
Open Automator, go to File->Open Recent, is your workflow listed?
Open it and see where Automator is storing it.
BTW check out your other post re exif data.
What does the title bar of the options window that opens say?
