Q: how do i remove pictures from my computer on my phone

I have over 2000 pictures on my phone but i can't delete those pictures because it is from my computer. I click edit but the delete option doesn't appear.

WHAT DO I DO?

iPhone 4, iOS 7.1

Any images placed on the iOS device via sync with itunes will need to be removed via a sync. They cannot be deleted directly on the devcie.
