Let me explain step by step.

On scenario is like this

  1. From home where i use regular wifi. Put the computer to sleep
  2. In the morning when i'll go to office there is the Aiport Extreme, i open the tilt then connects automaticly to Airpot extreme, then the speed is 217mbs.
  3. I turn off and then turn on again then the speed is 1gbs

Another scenario is that

  1. In the office where the Aiport Extreme is located i open the tilt then wifi is automaticly connected and if i do restart to the mac and login into OSx then wifi also connects automaticly to Aiport Extreme, still the speed is 217
  2. I turn off and then turn on again then the speed is 1gbs
