Macbook pro is still booting in safe mode after I disconnected the keyboard
I don't know what else to do, I've disconnected and reconnected everything.

I found that reconnecting the keyboard and holding esc key makes it boot into normaol mode, but it is start registering shift key as held down.
I have disassembled, cleaned and reassembled the whole thing with not change.
If you boot normally using the esc ket and go to Mail or some program you can type in, is the shift key still stuck down, for example, do you type in capital letters?
Yes, but the keyboard was replaced and all the connectors were cleaned.
Sounds like the shift key isn't working correctly for some reason.
If you live near an Apple Store, make a Genius Bar appointment to have the computer tested. Supposedly there is no charge for testing.
Not the shift key, I've disconnected the keyboard and it still does it. I'm hours away from the nearest apple store.
You've checked nvram boot-args as suggested by the linked article ?. But surely, if you're getting capital letters when typing, there must be some hardware problem.
