Talking Book Reader - what/where/how

Best-Buy's fast talking salesman informed me that the iPad Mini had a program to audibly read ebooks (Nook-Kindle) - name Siri. So I just bought the device. Now cannot find any part of Siri's description that agrees with the salesmans assertion! I am very near blind so such a talking reader would be great for me.

Comments - suggestions - fix's from anyone would be a great help, as I find nothing in the Apple store after two days searching, so thinking now I need to return the device to Best-Buy for refund.

HELP Please.

iPad, New purchass.
