How Do I Get Kik Back On My Ipod 3

I Had kik On My Ipod Touch 3rd Generation. I Had To Restore it last night because the screen was'nt working. I Knew That All My Apps and Media Will be Gone. But When I Tried to redownload kik, it said I needed IOS 6. When I First Got It, it just downloaded the app. The reason why this is a problem is because I also tried Pandora, and it said you need IOS 7, but it told me I can download the older version of the app. How come it doesn't say that for kik?😮

Starting when iOS 7 was released, Apple now allows downloading the last compatible version of some apps (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)

App Store: Install the latest compatible version of an app

You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.
