Stolen iPad

My iPad was stolen a week ago and trying to find it with the app but there not logging on to the internet. Is there a way I'm able to see its location and can they get into my iPad even though it's password protected?

Yes, if and when it connects to a wireless network. You will receive an email from Apple with its location. It will look like this

No, not at all. In fact it will be completely useless to anyone without your Apple ID and password.
