can no longer open epub attachments in ibooks

Ever since I upgraded to ios 7.1, I can no longer open epub email attachments in ibooks. I get the option to do it, but then the book just "disappear". Can't find it anywhere in iBooks. Anyone else experiencing the same issue? Thanks.
