My ipad is full, now i only want to sync playlist only and I can't figure out how that is done

In the Music tab of the syncing window in iTunes when you have your iPad connected, you should be able to select if you want to sync your entire music collection, or just a portion like specific playlists. For more information about various sync options, you may find the following article helpful:

Yes. Connect the iPad to the computer you normally sync with. Select your iPad in iTunes and under the Music tab deselect sync all music. Then select sync selected playlists. Select the playlists you want then click on Apply.
