I have encounterd a Web site that ONLY works wirh IE. The site is admnistered by the state's education agency. My research says there is no IE for Mac because it is discontinued. Any ideas?

No version of Internet Explorer will work in Mavericks natively. If you can't get it to work by setting a different browser to identify itself as IE, you'll need to use Windows.

The Mac version of Internet Exploder was discontinued over a decade ago. Your state's education agency needs to educate itself.
If you are so inclined, post the URL you are attempting to access in a reply. I will attempt to find a workaround.
