Trying to download Mavericks

Hi,

I'm running 10.7.5 and have a really good broadband service (did a speedtest and it was 15meg) but I just cannot get mavericks to download. I hit the green 'install app' button in the app store and get the swirly thing for a second and then nothing. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm in the UK btw!
