My Apple TV keeps cutting out. I'm watching filmon tv and there is no problem with their service but the connection between my I pad mini and the Apple TV just cuts out every now and again. Anyone have any suggestions, short of sending it back.
Is your AppleTV connected by wireless (WiFi) or wired (Ethernet)?
The Apple TV is connected by wire to the television but by wifi to my iPad mini. The Filmon tv app is on the ipad
That would indicate an issue with the local network.
Is the Apple TV connecting to your network wirelessly or is it hard wired to your router using ethernet?
Make sure router, ATV, and iPad are up to date. Reboot all.
Go to istumbler (Mac) or netstumbler (PC) to get a report of the network, look for signal strength and noise.
