Last update for Pages has changed my saved documents. Removed my letterhead and only left the text I had inserted. This is so not good. Help please.

You are talking about any version of Pages 5 I believe, not just Pages 5.2.
Yes it does that, and many other things.
Use Pages '09 which should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.

PS Your profile is wrong, you are not using Mountain Lion and you should always mention the exact version of Pages you are referring to.

Thanks. I did have the Mac operating system information as well as the Pages version, however somehow it did not show up. Thanks for your help.
