Any ideas how to fix it?
iPhone 5
The power button (top right of iPhone) is used to lock the iphone and power it down.
Does the iPhone ever lock?
Does it shut the screen off when you press it?
Press and hold bring up Slide to turn off?
Setttings > Passcode > Require passcode and set to Immediately
I ve put a passcode so it locks by itself.
Press and hold powers off, no slide!
If I try to lock it by pressing the power button it takes a screen pic...and I am not pressing the home button!

I suggest you restore it and see what happens.
Did not work!
Take it in to an Apple store to get checked out.
Lock button on iPhone 5 wont lock but will do a screen shot????
