Without find my iPhone or icloud there is no other way to track a device. Unless that is you use a third party app like "life 360" or some other.  Good luck

You need to have enabled Settings -> iCloud -> Find my iPhone on your iPhone.

You do not need to have previously installed the "Find my iPhone" app.  It is ALL in the iCloud Settings on your iPhone.

However, if your iPhone is powered on, and Settings -> iCloud -> Find my iPhone is enabled, then you can use any web browser on any computer to access <http://www.icloud.com>, login with your Apple ID, and select "Find my iPhone".

The "Find my iPhone app, from another iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch can also be used to track your lost iPhone.
