After updating to 7.0.3 Safari will not go online and my WiFi menu bar indicator is grey. However, WiFi is ON, Mail works, Firefox works and network preferences indicates that WiFi is on(green). I would like to reinstall Safari but am having trouble finding out how to reinstall just Safari. Anjother preference would be to reinstall an earlier version of Safari.
Which OS X is installed on your Mac ?
Click the Apple () menu top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click About This Mac.
The version is noted there.
Troubleshooting advice can depend on that information.
Reinstalling Safari most likely will not help a Wi-Fi issue.
Download the Safari 7.0.3 installer package and run it.
I'm using 10.9.2
Situation has changed. After an hour or so Safari 7.0.3 started working. I'm using it now. My problem with the WiFi menu bar indicator remains greyed out not black. I do have wifi and it is working. Linc Davis suggested downloading the Safari 7.0.3 installer package. I did, but will keep it handy for now.
