So I have a 4th gen iPod touch, and i've had it for a 3 years. Lately it hasn't been recognizing any wifi connections, when it has connected to them before. And when it does connect to one, it won't connect for very long. It does have a cracked screen, i dont know if that makes any difference. Is my ipod dying? do i need to get a new one?

It does sound like it is struggling. You may want to save up and get a 5th gen touch. Or, you could go to an Apple store, and pay for an out of warranty replacement.
Do you have this problem with all networks? If so then I suspect and intermittent loose connection to the antenna
yeah i have a problem with all connections it cant find any of them.
