Q: Facetime Problem

I have an iPhone 4S and a Macbook Pro. I used to be able to get and receive calls on both devices. But now I am only able to get and receive calls on my iPhone. My Macbook will call, but once the person picks up it says "call back/cancel". Since my iPhone has the same cellphone number as my Macbook I think that is the problem. If it is, how do I fix it and get back to calling on both devices? If it is not then how do I get back to back to be  able to call on both devices? Thank You!

i have the same concern.. I can only be reached in iPhone, even if I have the same contact details set up in my Mac.

So, I tried removing the email address or my apple id in my iPhone, so that I can only be reached through my mobile number.

Then I retain the email address in Mac as contact detail for FaceTime in Mac.  Basically they have unique contact details to be reached.

I tested calling each other's device but it doesn't continue, i.e. call is not successful.  I will ask a friend to try calling my email address to see if FaceTime in Mac will be successful (and with my mobile number).  I will update if the testing is successful.

hopefully others can also provide updates/resolution on this too.

    thanks!
