Sep 19, 2015 7:51 AM in response to ddiannby carlach,i have the same concern.. I can only be reached in iPhone, even if I have the same contact details set up in my Mac.
So, I tried removing the email address or my apple id in my iPhone, so that I can only be reached through my mobile number.
Then I retain the email address in Mac as contact detail for FaceTime in Mac. Basically they have unique contact details to be reached.
I tested calling each other's device but it doesn't continue, i.e. call is not successful. I will ask a friend to try calling my email address to see if FaceTime in Mac will be successful (and with my mobile number). I will update if the testing is successful.
hopefully others can also provide updates/resolution on this too.
thanks!
