Having problems setting up Airport Express as an "extender" with our non apple WIFI router (NetGear). It seems the only option that works is to connect AE to our WIFI as a device. We need an extender. Any ideas?
Extremely unlikely that the the AirPort Express could wirelessly extend the signal from a 3rd party router.....since Apple designed their "extend" feature to only work with other Apple routers.
Best to use another Netgear repeater to insure compatibility.
