Why isn't my Roland FA-66 Audio Interface being recognized?

I'm trying to setup my Roland FA-66 "Cakewalk" so I can record some stuff, but it isn't being recognized by my iMac.

It is plugged in with a Firewire cable and I have everything on the device setup properly. But my Mac itself isn't recognizing the device.

Just a few notes:

  • Mid-2010 iMac with an i3 processor
  • Audio Interface is a Roland FA-66 CAKEWALK, not EDIROL
  • Trying to record into Garageband
  • Connected with a Firewire cable

Cheers

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
