Well… I wouls suggest you
run the memory tests again firstly without other
applications running. And secondly, remove the 3rd
party RAM and see if it runs clean.

If it runs clean without the 3rd party RAM under the
same conditions then you might have some RAM
issues.

Ran Clean with Apple RAM, no apps... Would you suggest the third party only with the no apps?

By the way, what actual make, and model number if you
can find it, of RAM did you actually get? This is one
of the reason why I prefer to buy specifically to a
manufacturer's part number so you know exactly what
you're getting.

want to keep it for another day or two and see how
you go. Transcend make good RAM so on purely a memory
quality standpoint it should be fine. Maybe you just

Ok, some thought. The RAM fails the Rember but the system does not panic on me. I ripped a DVD, Photoshop, surfing, and some MS Apps. Nothing, no KP"s or EEC errors. If I use Rember, I get ECC errors, correctable ones 28 to 32.

The funny thing is it is isolated to the slot A on what ever riser I put it on. I swapped the RAM from A to B and still A fails no matter where it sits on either riser.

I think it's not the RAM but Rember. I think since I do not have obvious problems, checking Apple System Profiler, no ECC errors I will be ok.

No slow down in speed in ASP and no KP's tells me maybe Rember is really stressing the RAM and overheating may be a factor, as I had on occasion the Apple RAM show ECC problems.

Anyone else tried this Rember and had a perfect passing score?
