How do you put your CD on iCloud?

You don't. iCloud does not provide general file storage. You are confusing it with 'iTunes Match' which is actually nothing to do with iCloud (despite being bracketed with it in Apple's advertising).


'iTunes in the Cloud' (no charge' enables you to re-download purchased items from the iTunes Store on other authorised devices. 'iTunes Match' ($24.99p.a.) enables you to 'match' any music you have obtained from other sources (such as ripping your CDs) with the same music in the Store and download that: if the music isn't in the Store you can upload it (maximum 25,000 songs). This doesn't count towards your iCloud Storage space and is toed to your iTunes account, not the iCloud account (the logins don't have to be the same though they often are).
