Siri cannot hear me on my iPhone 5 but my mic DOES work.

I have tried all the fixes mentioned on here. Turned the phone off/on and reset the phone but still Siri cannot hear me. I have checked Siri settings and my phone settings are exactly the same as my wife's pho but still nothing. I have even double checked the mic settings and my mic works perfectly with all other software/apps.

Why can't I get Siri to work properly??
