You can.
You can type something like this:
=45+6+89+321+78
You can.

=45+6+89+321+78
How about if I want SUM in the next column for ex. first column (1+1) and the next column SUM (2)
Give each value its own column first, then add them up. You can use Find and Replace to substitute Tabs for spaces and then paste the tab separated values into a table.

you can sum cell by using the sum() function.
you can sum a row:
=sum(1:1)
will sum ALL cells in row 1
you can sum a column:
=sum(C)
will sum all cells in column C
you can sum a list of cells:
=sum(A1, C5, E76, B1:5)
will add together cells A1, C5, E76, B1, B2, B3, B4, and B5
