My 5s didn't turn on after latest update from apple

I have puschased an iphone 5s from US and recently my phone did not turn on after the ssl update. I have visited Apple Istanbul store and did not get any support! I am very old apple user and really became upset with such service that I needed after long long years. Basically my machine is not responding to power button and need to be replaced. However they just suggest me to talk with applecare from another country. .... This is really bad feeling

I was thinking that apple has same service support in all countries and supports their products! But it NOT!

It is widely available knowledge that Apple warranties and service are valid only in the country in which the device was purchased. You need to return to the US to have the unit serviced or replaced.

Unfortunately I am not going to US in the near future so...its over....As a customer what we expect? It is only the same service if the device is under waranty. My device I bought only five months back and it should be replaced where the customer is. Otherwise they shouldn't sell to foreign people I think. This is my opinion, either you respect or not...

They don't sell to foreign people...they sell to people in the country in which you buy it. Apple shouldn't need to ask you for your passport before they sell you a phone. You left home, they didn't...
