Can't install gfxCardStatus on Macbook Pro OS X 10.9.2 Maverick

Hey guys,

I am trying to install http://www.downloadcrew.com/article/27732-gfxcardstatus ever since my computer started making fan noises hoping that this will resolve the issue but I can't even succeed installing this program, don't know what I am doing wrong...

Here is the error message window I get when attempting to install.

"You are using a system that gfxCardStatus does not support. Please ensure that you are using a MacBook Pro with dual GPUs."

anyone encountered similar thing ? and if so how did you resolve it? , would appreciate your help.

Running Macbook Pro Retina 13', OS X 10.9.2 Maverick Mem 8Gb 1600MHz DDR3
