How can I remove totally VLC plugin ver. 1.1.5?

How can I remove totally VLC plugin ver. 1.1.5? I would like to install older plugin version but system doesnt do it. It says that newer version exists. I have removed plugin folder but it doesnt help. There are some traces from installed version which dont allow to install old version 1.0.5. This is important because supertube service works only by Camino browser and VLC plugin 1.0.5.
