Movies Not Working from Apple TV to Imac and Macbook Pro

I got 'percy jackson sea of monsters' in january 2014. I have been able to play it since on apple tv and still can. Just last night i wanted to play it on my iMac but it wasn't on there. i connect my 2 computers together and got it on my iMac, and when i whent to watch it there was a new features page. i Could choose a few of the usual options like features and scenes but still coild not play it on the other mac devices.
