Using MacBook Pro abroad

Hi,

I have recently bought a new MacBook Pro with Retina display 13" in Australia and I'm going to Sweden for a while. Do I need to buy an adapter/converter ? Or will a simple plug (the kind you can get at an airport) do? I have plenty of different plugs/adapters for various countries but I don't want to fry my computer the first thing I do when I get there..

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

You should not need a converter, just the proper 2 prong style Euro adapter. The Macbook Pro power adapter is scaling, going from 110v up to 240v. You were just using 240v in Australia, Sweden power outlets should be 220v, so you are still safe. I have included a photo of the standard Europen style outlet you will encounter in Sweden. Happy travels!
