How Accurate Are The Daily Sales Reports In iTunes Connect?

For the past 5 days now, I've been running aggressive marketing campaigns for my iPhone Apps, but the Daily Sales Reports don't seem to reflect any of it. Now, I understand that Traffic does not equal Sales; but I find it amusing that more than 500+ legitimate iPhone users only resulted in '5 Units Sold'.

How accurate are the Daily Sales reports in iTunes Connect? How much stock should I put into them?

or should I just wait for the Monthly Earnings Report for a more accurate Sales data?
