Is it safe to bring my MacBook Air to Sicily because of the heart bleed virus

I heard it is not safe to bring a laptop overseas because of the heartbleed bug. I'd like to bring my MacBook Air. Should I?

Would you be a little more precise on what precautions I should take to prevent an attack.

There are now several options for testing server and client applications for the OpenSSL vulnerability. No Apple service or application has ever been affected, so you don't have to test those. However, you must understand that even though a website is not exposed now, that doesn't mean it was never exposed during the two years the bug existed but had not yet been publicized. If in doubt, change all network passwords and check all accounts for unauthorized activity.
