How to add nest MAC address to authorized access list
How do I add my new nest MAC address to authorized access list on my Apple Airport network? The Nest asked for password to our wifi network but cannot join.
Let's make sure that someone is not sending you on a wild goose chase here.
Did you really set up all of your other wireless devices using a MAC Timed Access list?
We ask this because......If you had done this, then you would already know how to add the Nest device to the list.
Chances are, you have not set up a MAC Address Access List for all of your wireless devices.
This would have been a long, tedious process, which would have involved setting up each device separately using a long 12 digit code and specifying the exact times each day that each device would be allowed to connect to the network.
Can you confirm if you did this?
