My iPhone 5 won't turn on. It's charged but it simply won't turn on. I need help like ASAP!

My iPhone has been fine for like as long as I've had which has been for a while I guess until this past Saturday because it started to just turn itself off when I was either using it or not using it. Then it couldn't stay on unless it was connected to a charger even though it's at 100% battery. Now it won't turn on period. Also, I restored my phone completely to see if that'll work and it didn't work at all. Is my phone just completely dead and I have to go to the Apple Store to purchase or swap my phone for a different one or what's my situation?

Long shot but... try a Reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings. You might need to hold the buttons for as long as a minute. You might also need to try this a few times.

I'm guessing that it's a battery problem. If the reset doesn't work, take it in to Apple and let them look at it,

Yeah I could do that but the phone itself isn't even on. It hasn't been turning on at all.

The Reset may turn it back on. Can't hurt to try.
