A 15" non-Retina 2012 model? Of course you should upgrade to Mavericks - just be certain that you have a backup in place (preferably a clone) before you install Mavericks.

does it really worth?
if i wont get a backup my datas will be deleted??????
It should not delete your data if everything works properly
I don't know about you but I never trust my data to everything working properly
Besides it is always better to have a backup and not need it then to need a backup and not have it
Data recovery is far more expensive then backup
so i have to backup, then upgrade
thanxx buddyy
i have another question if you mind
when i watch blueray movies,it hasnt the best resolution of the movie, but when i play the same movie in my asus laptop it loooks greatt
whats wrong??
Do you have an external Blu-ray recorder/player? You need specific Blu-ray software to play a Blu-ray disc on a Mac - Apple doesn't provide any.

no no,movies are downloaded and my default player is vlc
If you're downloading movies from the Internet they are not Blu-ray - way too much bandwidth. If these are illegally obtained torrent fims, the quaility is usually going to be bad from the start.
