MY Apple TV will not let me get past the pop up screen that says "Could no sign in, your apple ID or password is incorrect".

MY Apple TV will not let me get past the pop up screen that says "Could no sign in, your apple ID or password is incorrect". I have tried resetting and the screen pops up again and still won't let me go past this, and I have even replaced the battery so I know the remote works. Help!
