why does cmd+w closes all tabs sometimes?

why does pressing cmd+w would close all the open tabs? usually it closes one tab, this is why i press cmd+w to close one tab but frequently it will close all tabs. and this has been for a long time like even from previous os. i am not on mavericks and it still closes all tabs in safari sometimes. equal amount of times.

it is so annoying. does anyone have this? why does it do that? or it’s a bug? thanks

MacBook, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

but safari does not crash. it just sometimes closes all tabs that i have oppen when i press cmd w, since it closes one tab usually, but on occation it will close all tabs. and i definitelly press cmd w, not cmd q since that would close safari.

are you asking to typer safari crash report when it crashes like in general? cause i do not remember when safari crashed in the past. safari did not crash one me like for a long time. that might take a while since it does not crash, in that regard safari works alright.
