how do we download a file from h drive? The usb flash drive has been formatted to mac, journaled, extended etc.

How do we download a file from one mac to another mac using usb flash drive. I have formatted kingston flash drive (8GB) to mac, journaled, extended etc..

Connect it to one Mac, drag the file onto it, eject it, connect it to the other, and drag it to the desired location.
