Apr 17, 2014 4:20 PM in response to sunandstarsby rkaufmann87,Assuming the specifications for each iMac call for the same RAM then yes, if you are not sure then look for the system specification or you can use a site like Crucial or OWC (www.macsales) to determine the type of RAM each machine uses.

It will, if the RAM specifications are different.
What speed is the RAM from the older iMac and what model is your newer iMac...?
