can i turn off imessage from a pc?

i was temporarily using my son's iphone while i was waiting from my new Droid to come in. I didn't turn off imessage before i deactivated my apple ID and now i don't always receive texts from iphone users. i read somewhere to log back into my Apple ID and then turn off imessage before logging off again. Changing Apple IDs from mine back to my son's ID after i got my Droid took HOURS on my son's phone. I would like to just find a way to do it from a PC instead of on his iphone. is this possible?😕
