Time Capsule as wifi router, internet works but amber light keeps flashing

I just started using our 2-month old Time Capsule (version 7.7.2) as a wifi router, connected to a brand new Motorola Surfboard SB6141 modem (the modem is not a router). I managed to get a wifi connection after fiddling around a bit, turning everything off and then on (modem first, then TC) and going into Airport Utility on my MacBook Air and under Networks, setting the router mode to "DCHP and NAT." However, as soon as the internet connection came back, the amber light started flashing on the Time Capsule, so even though I'm connected I'm worried that something is not set up correctly. The status of the Time Capsule when I open Airport Utility says "Setup over WAN - This Airport Base Station is set up to allow setup over the Ethernet WAN port, which decreases network security."

Is this a problem? Or should I just click "Ignore" under the status pulldown menu in Airport Utility?
