I plan to get a new MacBook, I use Windows Server 2012 R2 for development in VMware.
Which of the below I should choose??
MBA 13寸,1.7MHz i7,8GB RAM & 512GB Flash Storage.
MBP 13寸,2.6MHz i5,16GB RAM & 512GB Flash Storage.
MBP 15寸,2.0MHz i7,16GB RAM & 512GB Flash Storage.
MBP 15寸,2.0MHz i7,16GB RAM & 512GB Flash Storage.

The 1 you selected of course have the highest spec but also the most expensive 1.
May I know why you not choosing others, it is other 2 cannot handle the Windows Server properly??
You have 4 cores on the i7 15" model - and you want all the power you can get when running server software, in my experience. I'm running Apple's server software at the moment and it's quite a CPU hog: I'm assuming that the Windows Server 2012 R2 package would be the same.

What if I choose i7 for the 13"??

The 13" is a dual-core i7, so significantly less power than the quad-core 15". That's not to say it couldn't run Windows Server, but definitely less CPU power.
Server 2012 is fairly light on the CPU side... I can run it in a VM on my Core 2 Duo Mac mini. Startup performance is somewhat sluggish because it likes to have 2-4GB of RAM and I only have 1.5 to spare.
Also Server 2008 R2 runs without issue on the Mini's bootcamp partition. It's fast and stable as a network monitoring web cache server.
So, to determine the CPU usage, it all boils down to what Wai Loon Ho wants to do with said Windows Server right?

As I can use it to simulate real environment.
Normally is web or windows development .
You'll be fine for that with the i7
I do recommend the 15" model for the extra graphics power

Based on budget constrain problem, I think I can only get MBA.
I will upgrade the RAM to 8GB.
But I need to know do I need to upgrade the Processor to 1.7 i7??
I still need to use this machine for windows development.

I found a 2nd hand macbook pro retina. May I know will this machine fullfill my requirement to do development in Windows Server 2013??
This is only 8GB, and I believe it will make the system slow if memory is not enough.

There is no Server 2013... 2012 R2 is the current version of Windows Server
I have 8GB of RAM and I can run two windows 7 Virtual Machines in the MacOS
