what can i do to verify if my macbook is safe from hackers and intruders?

someone help please. i'm very worried. it happens some strange things... very hard to me to explain here because of my bad english. It´s the first time i post a question here, so if some gentle soul can try to help me with my problem i'll try to post more details.
