Ive been having problems with the sound on my iphone 4s, it sometimes has a ringtone and has keyboard clicks but it wont play music or have any ringtones or anything. It doesn't even come up with the volume scroll bar or the volume buttons on the side no longer work. This isn't due to liquid damage or anything, this is a software issue. Is there anyway to fix this?

If it's a hardware issuem the hardware needs to be fixed.
Or a software issue? I'm not sure, its just not due to damage on my behalf. Is there anyway of fixing this issue?
Try a reset.
Press & hold both Home & Power until you see the Apple logo (about 10 seconds).I
