My iPhone screen is being unresponsive and thinks I'm touching it everywhere?

First it was just my screen ain't responding to me touch it. Then it started to act like I touched it everywhere. Like I will try and send a text and as I'm typing it changes page clicks done refreshes whatever it can other than type the actual text. Then I reset my phone by holding down the powe button and sliding it to off. Now I turned it back on and it's doing both again... Help?
