Safari 7.0.3 Quits Unexpectedly - won't stay open

First my iMac froze. Then I restarted the computer and could not open Safari!! Each time I tried to open Safari it would quit. I have plenty of reports. I checked out to see if anyone had a similar issue. No change. What's interesting is in the "User Diagnostic Reports" the last four ".Crash" entries refer to:

1. com.apple.WebKit.WebContent_2014-4-17-183850_Julies-iMac.crash.

2. quicklookd32_2014-03-19-095544_Julies-iMac.crash

3. quicklookd32_2014-03-19-095708-1_Julies-iMac.crash

4. quicklookd32_2014-03-19-095708_Julies-iMac.crash

5. Safari_2014-04-17-182758_Julies-iMac.crash <-- 13 of these

I checked out the "Unsupported third-party add-ons ..." but don't have a clue what shouldn't appear in the Internet Plug-Ins folder.

Here's a screen shot of that folder...

Hope I can get some help. At the moment I am using Firefox to access the internet. Thanks in advance.

Hi dominic23 - last night I decided to give my attempts at opening Safari a rest. I did leave my computer on and just now (this morning) when I clicked to open Safari from the Application folder it opened!! And thankfully so far has stayed open. Because I could not even open Safari I had to resort to Firefox to get to this forum. Now they are both open. What do you suggest I do? Clear Safari's cache? Not sure how. Check for plug-ins that I did not add? Would you still like to see the last crash report? Thank you for your help.

An Update to the above. Safari remained open. However, I encountered a new and more serious problem.

While syncing my iPhone using iTunes, the background turned grey and Finder completely disappeared. iTunes froze but strangely Safari remained open. I hit the restart button in the back of my iMac. It has never restarted!! I'm entering this info from my daughter's iMac.
